The Integrity Catalyst
Kim Peirano is an organizational consultant focused on helping leaders and teams build integrity-centered cultures grounded in psychological safety and ethical decision-making. She is completing her M.S. in Organizational Psychology at the University of Hartford in early 2026, where she serves as the Research Lab Manager for the SHINE Lab and contributes to research on leadership development, destructive leadership, and optimizing workplace environments for neurodivergent employees.

With more than a decade of experience in the wellness sector, Kim brings an uncommon, inside-out understanding of how high-control dynamics, misinformation, and charismatic authority can emerge in both alternative health and workplace settings. Her current work connects these worlds, examining how organizations can foster ethical, psychologically safe environments even with limited resources, and how individuals can navigate wellness spaces without falling prey to coercive practices or exploitative models.

Kim’s writing and commentary have appeared in The Journal of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, O The Oprah Magazine, USA Triathlon Magazine, 7x7, and Bustle. She has been a guest on podcasts including Was I In a Cult?, Emotional Abuse Is Real, and Trill Mag, and has presented at the International Cultic Studies Association Annual Conference in 2025 and 2024. Her forthcoming book, America’s Cult of Wellness, explores the industry’s systemic harms and offers an evidence-based path toward ethical, consumer-centered care.
