Hi, I'm Kim!

A passion for integrity and transparency drives me. My core belief is that equity and honesty are the pillars that underpin successful businesses that retain employees long term, deliver strong results, and improve the world. If you're seeking to bring a new level of authenticity into your organization, enhance employee well-being, and foster a culture where everyone thrives, let's talk!

The Integrity Catalyst

Kim Peirano, MSOP, is an Organizational Psychologist, consultant, and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of rigorous research, systems thinking, and thoughtful care for the humans inside organizations. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford and has been an annual speaker at the International Cultic Studies Association conference since 2024, where her research bridges coercive control dynamics and applied organizational psychology.

With over 15 years of experience building and leading organizations across healthcare, nonprofit, entertainment, and education industries, Kim brings a rare combination of academic depth and hard-won operational experience to her consulting practice. She has founded and run multiple organizations from the ground up, managing everything from financial planning and regulatory compliance to marketing, team leadership, and strategic operations. A background that shapes everything about how she works with clients.

At the core of Kim's practice is a simple conviction: honesty and integrity are not just values worth holding; they are the organizational conditions that produce sustainable business outcomes. Leaders and organizations that operate with clarity about who they are, what they stand for, and how they treat the people inside their walls consistently outperform those that don't. Her work helps organizations find that clarity, even when it requires looking honestly at the things they have been avoiding.

Kim is a patterns-and-systems thinker who sees the full picture without losing sight of the details. She has a particular talent for identifying the root causes of organizational problems that have resisted every previous attempt to fix them. She is the creator of the Organizational Ecosystem Model™, a proprietary culture assessment framework that maps how different aspects of organizational culture interact and influence one another, enabling leaders to precisely diagnose what is driving poor performance, high turnover, or team dysfunction, and to intervene in ways that actually move the needle.

Her research specialization is destructive and coercive leadership, including how harmful leadership dynamics take hold in organizations, why they are so difficult to identify and address, and how organizational culture influences whether they thrive or are stopped. This work is informed by academic research, a background in coercive control studies, and years of clinical practice working one-on-one with people navigating complex personal and professional challenges.

Kim's coaching approach is built around her ACES™ framework: Acknowledge, Confront, Experience, and Shift. The process starts with getting honest about what is actually happening, not the polished version, and ends with a clear, practical plan for moving forward. She brings this same framework to her organizational work, helping leaders and teams name what is not working, understand why it is not working, and build toward something better.

Kim is neurodivergent and lives with Long COVID. She brings both research expertise and lived experience to her work on neurodiversity and inclusion of invisible illness in the workplace, and is currently conducting research at the SHINE Lab at the University of Hartford on optimizing ADHD talent in hybrid and remote work environments.

She is the founder and Principal Consultant of Integrity Catalyst, based in Oakland, California, working with clients remotely and internationally.
